      Connecting a 3rd Party Wiegand Reader:

      How to connect a wiegand reader from another manufacturer?

      The Alocity F3D100 is designed to integrate with 3rd party Wiegand readers, enabling customers to connect their existing RF readers and continue using their current credentials for a seamless, cost-effective, and user-friendly access control experience.

      Follow these steps to properly wire the Alocity F3D100 Reader to a 3rd Party Wiegand Reader:

      1. Locate the set of wires with (Yellow) shrink tubing.
      2. Connect the Wiegand Input 0 (Blue/Black) wire to the Wiegand (D0) wire on the Wiegand reader.
      3. Connect the Wiegand Input 1 (Brown/White) wire to the Wiegand (D1) wire on the Wiegand reader.
      4. Connect the Ground (Black) wire to the Ground (GND) wire on the Wiegand reader.
      5. Refer to the Wiegand reader's manufacturer's technical documentation to determine the appropriate power source and connect it accordingly.

This guide provides clear instructions on how to enable the 3rd party reader, and set the Wiegand card format settings within the software to ensure proper functionality and security.
