      Connecting a 3rd Party Wiegand/OSDP Controllers:

      How to connect a reader from another manufacturer to the F3D100 intelligent device

      The Alocity F3D100 offers seamless integration with 3rd party Wiegand or OSDP controllers, allowing customers to connect their existing access control systems and modernize their readers without the need for a complete system overhaul. This provides a cost-effective and efficient solution for enhancing security and modernizing functionality.

      Follow these steps to properly wire the Alocity F3D100 Reader to a 3rd Party controller using Wiegand:

      1. Locate the set of wires with (Yellow) shrink tubing.
      2. Connect the Wiegand Output 0 (Green/Black) wire to the Wiegand (D0) connector on the controller.
      3. Connect the Wiegand Output 1 (Orange/Black) wire to the Wiegand (D1) connector on the controller.
      4. Connect the Ground (Black) wire to the Ground (GND) connector on the controller.




      Follow these steps to properly wire the Alocity F3D100 Reader to a 3rd Party controller using OSDP:

      1. Locate the set of wires with (Green) shrink tubing.
      2. Connect the RS485 B- (Green/White) wire to the RS485 B- (D-) connector on the controller.
      3. Connect the RS485 B+ (Orange/White) wire to the RS485 A+ (D+) connector on the controller.
      4. Connect the Ground (Black) wire to the Ground (GND) connector on the controller.
