I/O Relay- The Alocity Secure I/O Controller provides an additional layer of security for external doors. When door locks are connected directly to the F3D100's internal relay, the system may be more vulnerable to tampering and unauthorized access from the outside. Utilizing the Secure I/O Controller helps mitigate this risk by offering a more secure connection, making it more difficult for intruders to bypass the access control system.
To activate the device’s external relay on the Alocity secure i/o controller
- Click on "Doors" in the menu.
- Choose the desired door/device from the list.
- Navigate to the "Settings" tab.
- Enable either "I/O Relay 1" or "I/O Relay 2" by checking the appropriate box.
- Click "Update" to save your settings.
