Used in case the device seems to respond differently as the settings applied to it or doesn't seems to be recognizing a specific set of users (they get the access denied or not scheduled response from the device)
How to perform a device resync?
There might be occasions where the device is not responding as the settings in the system where adjusted or there's a user that’s supposed to be registered on the device and still it denies the access to the user not recognizing him (They get access denied or not scheduled status). You can perform a device resync to enforce the software settings to the device, just follow the next steps:
- Select Doors from the menu.
- Locate the door/device from the list and click on the tree dots icon that appear on the far right to open the device option menu:
- Click on the Resync device button and wait for the process to take place, usually from 1 second to 1 minute (it will depend on the number of users, the more users the device has, the longer it will take.
- Try the device settings and make sure it has been updated, if not, go back to settings and ensure it has been properly adjusted and the device is connected.
