      I/O Controller Pairing

      How to pair an I/O Controller with an Alocity F3D100 Reader

       

      Pairing Secure I/O Controller:

      Follow these easy-to-understand steps to pair your Secure I/O Controller with the Alocity F3D100 Reader:

      1. Ensure that the RS485 and power source connections have been completed according to the wiring instructions.
      2. Connect the power source to the I/O Controller.
      3. With the I/O Controller powered on, use a pin to press the reset button for 3 seconds. (Refer to the image below for the reset button location.)
      4. When done correctly, the I/O Controller's LED will start blinking, indicating that the reset process has been initiated.
      5. The I/O Controller will reboot, and the red power light should begin blinking red, signaling that it has been successfully paired with the Alocity F3D100 Reader. For more information about the LED indicators, please refer to Appendix B in this section:

      Note: To configure the Secure I/O Controller in your access control system, please consult the Alocity Software User Guide. This guide provides clear instructions on how to set up and adjust the controller settings within the software to ensure proper functionality and security.
