Installing the F3D100 Reader

How to install the alocity F3D100 Reader

The Alocity F3D100 Reader can be installed on a narrow surface, the height of the device should be 54” from floor, a flat surface, or a single gang box using the provided wall mount.

Option 1: Install the F3D100 Reader on a Mullion or Wall

1. Use the provided screws (A) to attach the mounting plate (B) to the wall.
2. Snap in the F3D100 reader (C) onto the mounting plate.
3. Strip and connect the wires if necessary, then provision the device.
4. Secure the reader with the security set screw (F).
   
   

Option 2: Install the F3D100 Reader on a Single Gang Box

1. Install a recessed single gang box into the wall.
2. Use the provided screws (A) to attach the mounting plate (B) to the gang box.
3. Snap in the F3D100 reader (C) onto the mounting plate.
4. Strip and connect the wires if necessary, then provision the device.
5. Secure the reader with the security set screw (F).
