[Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ'S)](https://help.alocity.com/knowledge/faqs?hsLang=en#frequently-asked-questions-faqs) # Setting Up Geolocation for Enhanced Mobile Credential Access ## How to Set Up Geolocation for Improved Door Access Control With the latest platform update, mobile credential users can experience smoother and more reliable access control, thanks to an enhancement that adds geolocation on top of the existing Bluetooth proximity search. This feature now leverages both Bluetooth and geolocation to show all doors a user has access to within the vicinity of the facility, visible in the Nearby Doors or Home menu on the Alocity 1iD app. To ensure this feature works correctly, follow the instructions below. #### Admin Instructions: 1. **Log in to the Alocity Platform** as an Admin with Full Access permissions. 2. **Navigate to Settings** in the platform menu. ![](https://help.alocity.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-31-2024-06-59-34-3408-PM.png?width=688&height=326&name=image-png-Oct-31-2024-06-59-34-3408-PM.png) 3. When near the facility, **open the Alocity 1iD app**.
