Wiegand Input and Output Set-Up

How to set up the wiegand input and outputs to connect to third party readers and controllers

The wiegand input will allow an external card reader to be connected to the alocity F3D100 reader. In this case when the user presents the card on the external reader, the card number will be sent to the alocity reader for processing.

The wiegand output will allow the alocity reader to connect to an external third party (ACU) access control unit. When using third party access control systems, the alocity reader will send the user’s card number to the ACU.

  1. Select Doors from the menu
  2.  Select the door/device from the list
