J. Alocity AI Safety and Compliance Agents
Fall Detection, Crowd Density Monitoring and PPE Compliance
Safety and Compliance agents help protect people on site by spotting falls, overcrowding and missing protective equipment, so staff can respond quickly.
All agents in this article are configured in Settings (⚙ in the top bar) › AI Video Agent. For how to draw zones and lines, set schedules and activate cameras, see AI Agent Configuration Types: Area, Line and Whole Frame. To be notified when an agent detects something, see AI Alerts.
1. Fall Detection
Automatically detects falls to enable fast response and reduce injury risk.
- Configuration type: Area
- Settings: Zone name and schedule
- Common uses: Senior living, hospitals, warehouses, stairwells and parking structures
- Camera tips: Use a clear, unobstructed view of the floor. Fall detection is a detail role, so it uses more AiVR capacity.
2. Crowd Density Monitoring
Detects when the number of people in a space exceeds safe or expected limits.
- Configuration type: Area
- Settings: Max Count and Time [VERIFY: defaults and ranges]
- Common uses: Lobbies, event spaces, exits and fire-code occupancy limits
- Camera tips: Use a high, wide view so people don't block each other.
3. PPE Compliance
Detects missing personal protective equipment to support safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
- Configuration type: Area
- Settings: TBD
- Common uses: Construction sites, warehouses and manufacturing floors
- Camera tips: TBD
