Configuring the Directory Module to Call Lobby/Front Desk Admins via the Alocity 1id App
The Directory module allows the system to call a person with the Alocity 1id App through an interactive directory displayed on the AI-1000 intercom via the leasing button or the FD3100 Intelligent Reader via the doorbell button. This setup ensures that lobby/front desk admins can efficiently manage incoming calls directly from their station.
To Set Up a Directory Entry:
- Go to Settings.
- Select the Directory option.
- Click on 'Add Entry' to begin the process.
- Choose the admin user who will receive the call (ensure the user has mobile credentials enabled).
- Configure the Unit Type by selecting "Lobby" to determine where the calls will be routed.
- Assign a unique, consecutive Entry ID for identification purposes (e.g., from 1 to 10, 1001 to 10010+).
- Select the appropriate site from the dropdown menu where the entry will be active.
- Confirm all details are correct and click 'Save' to finalize the entry.
