Configuring the Directory Module to Call Lobby/Front Desk Admins via the Alocity 1id App

The Directory module allows the system to call a person with the Alocity 1id App through an interactive directory displayed on the AI-1000 intercom via the leasing button or the FD3100 Intelligent Reader via the doorbell button. This setup ensures that lobby/front desk admins can efficiently manage incoming calls directly from their station.

To Set Up a Directory Entry:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select the Directory option.
  3. Click on 'Add Entry' to begin the process.
  4. Choose the admin user who will receive the call (ensure the user has mobile credentials enabled).
  5. Configure the Unit Type by selecting "Lobby" to determine where the calls will be routed.
  6. Assign a unique, consecutive Entry ID for identification purposes (e.g., from 1 to 10, 1001 to 10010+).
  7. Select the appropriate site from the dropdown menu where the entry will be active.
  8. Confirm all details are correct and click 'Save' to finalize the entry.
